General Terms and Conditions
Terms governing vehicle sourcing, pre-purchase diagnostics, ocean freight logistics, and turnkey delivery provided by KT Automotive.
§ 1 Scope & Contracting Parties
(1) These General Terms and Conditions govern all vehicle sourcing agreements, pre-purchase inspection services, logistics management, and vehicle sales between KT-Automotive (Global & Classic), Lange Str. 29, 89537 Giengen an der Brenz, Germany and its clients.
(2) Clients include both private consumers and commercial dealerships.
§ 2 Scope of Services
KT Automotive delivers turnkey vehicle procurement and import services including bespoke sourcing, certified 150-point pre-purchase vehicle diagnostics, insured container ocean freight, customs clearance management, and homologation assistance.
§ 3 Quotation, Agreement & Payments
(1) Catalog listings serve as non-binding invitations for bespoke quotations.
(2) Binding agreements are formalized via written contract.
(3) Upon agreement signing, the customer deposits an agreed initial down payment (typically 20% to 35%), with remaining balance payable upon destination inspection and handover.
§ 4 Shipping Timelines & Logistics
(1) Estimated ocean transit timelines (typically 30–45 calendar days) depend on carrier schedules and port logistics.
(2) KT Automotive is not liable for transport delays caused by force majeure or customs clearance delays beyond our control.
§ 5 Inspection Guarantee & Liability
(1) Sourced pre-owned vehicles are acquired and inspected on the basis of the comprehensive 150-point diagnostic condition report provided to the buyer prior to purchase commitment.
§ 6 Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
(1) The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
(2) Exclusive legal venue for all disputes is Giengen an der Brenz / Heidenheim, Germany.
